These athletes are all past recipients of the New England Masters Ski Racing Foundation Scholarships. Read on to find out about who they are.

Bristol Messer

Bristol Messer

2019/2020 Award Winner — NH

Bristol Messer lives in Newbury, NH, attends Kearsarge Regional Middle School, and races in the Pat’s Peak Ski Program. Last year was her first year of ski racing, making it to the state championships. She has been skiing since the age of two, and has always dreamed of making it to the Olympics.

She also plays soccer and runs track and field, and enjoys surfing in the summertime.  Other goals: to get straight A’s through middle school and high school (so far, so good!)

Curtis Wheeler

Curtis Wheeler

2019/2020 Award Winner — VT

Curtis Wheeler lives in Newark, VT and attends Burke Mountain Academy, where he has been with the ski racing program for six years.  He has been skiing since the age of 2.   Curtis races in the
Northern Vermont Division and had several podium finishes last year.

Besides ski racing, he is part of the ldeRide Mountain Bike Team, competing in several enduro races. He also enjoys snowmobiling and dirt bike riding.

Addyson Rossi

Addyson Rossi

2019/2020 Award Winner — NH

Addyson Rossi lives in Newbury NH, goes to Kearsarge Regional Middle School and races at Pat’s Peak.  Last year, Addyson qualified for the NH State Championships and was invited to the Top 5% Development Camp.  Her goal is to be invited to the US Ski Team by age 19.

Other interests are lacrosse, surfing, exploring, cooking, drawing, spending time with friends and family, and helping out in my community.

Killian McKim

Killian McKim

2017/2018 Award Winner — NH

Killian belongs to the Franconia Ski Club and is in the 9th grade at Profile High School. Racing has been in his blood since he chased his big brothers on Cannon Mountain. Killian won second and fourth places in last year’s Can-Am U16 races. His goal this year is to be top in the country in GS and SL, and has been working hard on his fitness level to achieve that goal. Aside from ski racing, his passions are slacklining, climbing, back country skiing and wake surfing.

Emerson Bell

Emerson Bell

2017/2018 Award Winner — NH

Emerson belongs to the Franconia Ski Club and is in the 7th grade at the Profile School. She learned to ski when she was only two years old, started competing in skiercross at age 8, and switched to Alpine racing at age 10. Last year, she placed 11th overall at the New Hampshire state U12 championships, and was recently selected to participate in a NHARA U14 ski racing project. When not on the slopes, Emerson enjoys soccer and spending time with friends.

Isabelle Jenne

Isabelle Jenne

2017/2018 Award Winner — VT

Isabelle is in the 11th grade at Woodstock Union High School and also attends the Killington Mountain School. She started skiing at age 2, and says she loves “steep wooded trails and powder days and long fast runs”. Last year, Isabelle won the U16 National Performance Series race at Burke Mountain which qualified her for participation in the Seven Nations Cup in Austria. She loves meeting new people and racing has provided her with that opportunity. Her other hobbies include photography, film making, and writing.
