Killian belongs to the Franconia Ski Club and is in the 9th grade at Profile High School. Racing has been in his blood since he chased his big brothers on Cannon Mountain. Killian won second and fourth places in last year’s Can-Am U16 races. His goal this year is to be top in the country in GS and SL, and has been working hard on his fitness level to achieve that goal. Aside from ski racing, his passions are slacklining, climbing, back country skiing and wake surfing.
Emerson belongs to the Franconia Ski Club and is in the 7th grade at the Profile School. She learned to ski when she was only two years old, started competing in skiercross at age 8, and switched to Alpine racing at age 10. Last year, she placed 11th overall at the New Hampshire state U12 championships, and was recently selected to participate in a NHARA U14 ski racing project. When not on the slopes, Emerson enjoys soccer and spending time with friends.
Isabelle is in the 11th grade at Woodstock Union High School and also attends the Killington Mountain School. She started skiing at age 2, and says she loves “steep wooded trails and powder days and long fast runs”. Last year, Isabelle won the U16 National Performance Series race at Burke Mountain which qualified her for participation in the Seven Nations Cup in Austria. She loves meeting new people and racing has provided her with that opportunity. Her other hobbies include photography, film making, and writing.
Kabir is on the Wildcat Ski Team and is in the 9th grade at River Valley Charter School. He has been skiing since age 4, and enjoys the challenge of racing, especially GS and Slalom. He loves the outdoors and hiking and camping, and his favorite subject at school is Math. Last summer, he won a scholarship to the three week “Center for Talented Youth” camp in Pennsylvania, where he studied statistics and game theory.
